Crop update, August 12th
Blueberries are still in good supply in the Nelson and Bonus rows, the quality is also good. It will be a week or so before more sunflowers bloom. No red raspberries to speak of for the next two weeks until the fall crop start producing. Tomatoes are plentiful, good supply of peppers and quality green beans available.
Crop update, August 9th.
Blueberry price reduction, $1 off per bucket. Still plentiful and easy picking. I’m afraid they may start to get so ripe they start dropping before there picked.
Tomato price reduction, 50 cents off per quart, just because they have become plentiful.
Red raspberries, still available, just like last week about 10 or so quarts available to the first customers of the morning.
Everything should be open for picking the entire week.
We're a U-pick berry and vegetable farm. We grow red and black raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, peppers, beans, zucchini, cucumbers and flowers.
Thank you,
Tod Winkel
