Open for the season
Crop update for August 19th.
Red and black raspberries are in better supply than last week but may all get picked by the late afternoon. The black raspberries need to be completely black to be sweet, purple ones have no flavor. Slicing tomatoes are in good supply, cherry tomatoes are limited. Green beans and hot peppers are good. Green bell peppers are small. A few zucchini are available. Watermelon and cucumbers are done for the year. I’ve reduced the price a little bit on beans and tomatoes again this week.
