Crop, price, farm closing update, Sept. 3rd
Red raspberries, quality is very good, quantity ok. All red raspberries are now just $4 a quart. Black raspberries are in good supply and quality but some of them are starting to dry out. Green beans are limited but they are still three planting to ripen. Tomatoes are going downhill kinda fast. Over 9lbs. only 40 cents a lb.
Peppers are good but a little small, I’ve also reduced there price. Blackberries are done for the season.
Farm will close for the season on September 22nd.
We're a U-pick berry and vegetable farm. We grow red and black raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, peppers, beans, zucchini, cucumbers and flowers.
Thank you,
Tod Winkel
