Crop update for September 23, red and black raspberries are limited this weekend, tomatoes look to be in good supply, peppers are on the small side and beans are done for the year.
Posted September 19th
Crop, price and anticipated farm closing date.
Red and black raspberries are in good supply.
Tomatoes, peppers and eggplant are also in good supply. I’m thinking the beans are getting a little old on the plants.
I’ve further reduced the price on tomatoes and peppers. Quality sunflowers are available.
I’m thinking the farm will close for the year on October 1st.
Crop, pricing and farm schedule update for Sept. 5th
Red and black raspberries are in good supply. Tomatoes, peppers and beans are plentiful. Barely any blackberries left for picking.
Picture of lower pricing for vegetables attached. If you bring your own baskets for the tomatoes subtract a 1/2 lb. for a peck basket and 1 lb. for a half bushel basket when you way them.
Farm will be closed on Saturday September 9th and reopen on Sunday plus be open Monday and Tuesday that week.
Raspberry and farm schedule update, Sept 1.
Red raspberries are on the low side of ok for quantity (if you are wanting just a quart or two it should be ok). Black raspberries are limited in quantity for the next few days.
The farm needs to be closed next Saturday Sept. 9th. Re-opening Sunday Sept.10th and will also be open Monday Sept 11th and Tuesday Sept 12th. Then returning to my normal schedule.

Red and black raspberries have started producing but it won’t be a lot for the next several days. The picture for the red is above average for the row. My guess is the morning crowd will get them all.
Blackberries are available but limited.
Peppers are large and beautiful.
Tomatoes continue to get more plentiful. The best slicing tomatoes are hidden in the bottoms of the plants.
Beans are plentiful. The Asian eggplants need a few days to size up. Some zucchini are available but no more cucumbers this year.
I will be few days before more sunflowers bloom.

Red raspberries are available and still large ,plus a few of the Imera fall ones have started to ripen.
Sunflowers are now 2 free for each person visiting the farm and additional ones are very reasonable priced. Rows next to the red raspberries have blossomed.
Tomatoes are moving along, you should be able to find yellow and red cherry, early girl and a few Villa plums available.
Green beans are only available in the row that was picked last week. I have other rows with flowers on them but no beans.
There should be some Asian eggplant and zucchini available.
Peppers are really starting to size up.
Blackberries are painfully slow to ripen, as soon as I see some ripen I’ll let you know.

Blueberry update July 6th.
I’m adding a day to the schedule this week. The field will be open tomorrow July 7th and the original posted day of Sunday July 9th. All this adverse weather has me nervous that the blueberries might start cracking if I hold off until Sunday. I looks like there should be enough for both days.
Raspberries are $5.50 a quart, same price as the last 3 years.
Blueberries are $3 lb.
The scale is new this year.
