Farm and crop update,
I’m hoping to open for the season on June 20th with red raspberries and maybe sugar snap peas.
Frost took out most of the blueberry crop. I’m estimating only about 25% of a normal harvest this year. Winter took out the entire crop of blackberries. Black raspberries should be normal. Red raspberries crop will be light do to me removing a field that was losing production. I planted a new field of them but it will be next before I get a light crop from them, after two years red raspberries should be back to normal. Vegetables are looking good. I added broccoli to the garden and doubled the amount of eggplant. The location of the vegetables are all over the farm because of the raspberry field replanting. The zucchini, cucumber and watermelon( new this year) are up by the road. The peppers are between the remaining red raspberries and blackberries. The tomatoes are were I removed the red raspberries. I left the sod between the rows. I have planted green beans for four weeks so far. I also have multiple weeks of sunflowers planted. I will have two categories of sunflowers, the common ones that will still be one free for each person that visits the farm with additional ones sold for very reasonable prices and fancier ones.

We're a U-pick berry and vegetable farm. We grow red and black raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, peppers, beans, zucchini, cucumbers and flowers.
Thank you,
Tod Winkel
