July 4th crop update,
Open 8 am to Noon ish.
Blueberries are huge, Toro, Nelson and Blue Ribbon looking great. The close up picture is of Toro, the berries are so large they are turning into pentagons. I’ll have a small crop of beans available. Black raspberries are plentiful, red are in good supply. The bee keeper delivered the honey today , 200 12 oz bears of the blueberry blossom and 48 1 lb. jars of season long honey. Just an FYI blueberry blossom honey does NOT taste like blueberries but it does taste absolutely delicious. The cost for honey is $11 for either one.
We're a U-pick berry and vegetable farm. We grow red and black raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, peppers, beans, zucchini, cucumbers and flowers.
Thank you,
Tod Winkel
